| William Axline, Jr. - Son of the founder of Axline's Pharmacy, and Jessie Spicer Axline. William was born in Monmouth and raised and Educated in Roseville, IL public schools, Monmouth College and the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. He graduated from Iowa in 1958 and has practiced pharmacy in Macomb, The United States Air Force, Roseville and Monmouth. He is married to Sandy Axline and they are the parents of John in Colorado, Tom in Galesburg and Chasta in Naperville. Sandy is a licensed Pharmacy Technician and has worked in the store since retiring from her teaching career. Together they have 5 grandchildren. They also continue to operate Axline Pharmacy in Roseville, Illinois. | ||

| Jim Vugteveen -
Born and raised
in Northeast Iowa in September of 1938. Parents were of Holland and Belgian descent. Received
K through 12 education in the Rock Valley Iowa school system.
Attended Pharmacy school at the University
of Iowa, graduating in 1960. Licensed in Iowa, Florida and Illinois
by examination. Worked in Macomb and Astoria Illinois from
1960 to 1968.
Married to Betty
Vugteveen in August of 1966. Have
2 daughters (Jennifer and Susan) and 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, with
ages from 1 to 10. Daughters and their families live in Kenosha, Wisconsin
and Belleville, Illinois.
Moved to Monmouth
and purchased 1/2 interest in Zimmers Drug in 1968 with Ed Kelly
as a partner for 10 years. Became
sole owner in 1977, moved the pharmacy practice to 401 No. Main Street
and renamed the business Zimmers Apothecary. Owned Zimmers and
had a retail and nursing home pharmacy for 37 years. Merged with
Bill Axline in September of 2004. Is now semi retired and works
for Bill and Sandy Axline part time.
