Simplify My Meds
“Simplify My Meds” is a program developed by the National Community Pharmacy Association to improve patient medication adherence. According to recent estimates, 125,000 deaths per year are attributed to non-adherence. It is also estimated that there is an economic cost of 100 to 300 billion dollars attributed to complications from non-adherence to prescribed medication.
At Axline Pharmacy, we want to make it easy for you to manage your medications. Here’s how the program works:
- All your chronic medications will be synchronized to be filled on the same day each month.
- One week prior to running out of medication, our pharmacy staff will phone you, reviewing your medications and scheduling your refills.
- Medications can then be picked up or delivered before you run out.
